Why red dirt stains stick

You’ll need: a hose or pressure washer, car wash soap, Dissolve X2, a microfiber applicator pad or towel, a damp microfiber, a dry microfiber, gloves, and eye protection.

1. Rinse the loose dirt. Rinse heavily, starting at the roof and working down. Spend extra time on the lower panels, wheel wells and door jambs.
2. Wash. Wash with car wash soap and rinse again. Grit plus pressure is what scratches, so get the loose dirt off before you touch the stain.
3. Work cool and shaded. Use a cool panel, out of direct sun.
4. Apply to the pad, not the paint. Put a small amount of Dissolve X2 on a microfiber applicator pad or towel.
5. Work one small section. Wipe it over the stained area with light pressure.
6. Wipe, rinse, dry. Wipe clean with a damp microfiber, rinse, and dry.
7. Second pass if needed. Go over stubborn areas again. Don’t let the product dry on the surface.

Wheels and chrome
